The Reader
by Bernhard Schlink
I read this book because I really liked the movie. I enjoyed that it was more in-depth from Michael Berg's point of view but was disappointed about their meeting at the end of the book. I prefer the movie because it leaves the ethical questions more open to both questions and answers.
It seems to me like good movies are now better than recently written books. Maybe I'll have to read the books before I see the movie - I used to believe the opposite.
